Growing up among the rolling vineyards and golden light of Hunter Valley Wine Country gave me an early appreciation for how special this region truly is. I’ve photographed people and places across the world, but no matter where I go, Wine Country is home. There’s a magic here… one you’ve no doubt felt yourself, that makes it such an unforgettable place to begin your married life. Choosing a local photographer means more than just knowing the best locations. It’s about having someone with trusted local contacts, resources, and back-up plans if the unexpected happens, so you can relax knowing your day is in safe hands. I know the hidden gems and lesser-known corners that can make your photos feel as unique as your love story.

Our Story
I’m Jamie Gilmore, principal photographer and creative director. For more than 20 years, I’ve led a career that blends fine art, editorial, and commercial photography. My work has appeared in publications such as Vogue, Russh, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Gourmet Traveller, and Inside Out, and I’ve created campaigns for global brands including KitchenAid, L’Occitane, Lexus, and Tyrrell’s Wines. Alongside this, my limited-edition landscapes and portraits have won numerous state and national awards. What this means for you is a wedding photographer who brings the artistry of magazine-worthy imagery, combined with the sensitivity to capture the candid, fleeting moments that make your day truly yours. Whether your vision is relaxed and documentary-style or elevated and editorial, I’ll work with you to craft a mood board and plan that reflects your style perfectly.

Why We Do What We Do
At the heart of it all, my passion is storytelling… capturing authentic connections, subtle glances, and moments that might otherwise slip by unnoticed. My goal is to create timeless images that feel just as real decades from now as they do today, and become heirlooms that your family will treasure for generations. Your wedding deserves to be remembered in the most beautiful and meaningful way possible. I’d be honoured to help you tell that story.
